Hinterland

Hinterland is a fantasy role-playing game that contains some city-builder elements. The goal is to lead a group of adventurers to establish a village in the wilderness of a fantasy kingdom. Hinterland is set in a world roughly based on the lore of both the Norse and the Celts. The player's followers will consist of peasants and tradesmen, who can also be conscripted to join the player on expeditions into the unknown. The game features characters and creatures of fantasy, which inhabit the lands surrounding the player's village. The challenge of the game is to keep the village safe while adventuring to find much needed resources for its expansion. The game has been specifically engineered to have low system requirements to allow for a larger audience.
